The aluminum foil type retort pouch was first made of three layers of heat-resistant materials, called "retort pouch" (RP for short), a retort pouch sold by Japan's Toyo Can Company, containing aluminum foil called RP-F (resistant to 135 ° C), transparent multi-layer composite bags without aluminum foil are called RP-T, RR-N (resistant to 120 ° C).
